Children & Youth Saving Account With Prizes

 

- The minimum for opening the account is EGP 50.00

 

- The account is issued in the name of the child or the young man (less than 21 years) by the guardianship of his guardian or custodian.

 

- The guardian shall be free to deal with the account

either using the paper book in which case the withdrawal and deposit shall be carried out via the branches of the bank. Dealing could be carried out via the e-Saving account in which case the withdrawal or deposit shall be carried out via the ATMs.

 

- The account holder may obtain a unit from among the units available at the bank pursuant to the priorities determined by the computer (book balance & deposit period). If the desire of the saver is not achieved in obtaining the required unit, he could wait for the following phase. He could also obtain a loan from the bank to purchase the unit by simplified terms.

 

- Borrowing is allowed by the collateral of the account deposits until 90% of their value by simplified procedures.

 

- An annual rate of return is calculated as of the beginning of the month following the deposit (credited on 31 Dec. of every year).

 

The periodic draw for prizes is carried out every 6 months for each book whose balance reaches to EGP 100.00. Such prizes are represented in the following :

 

- First prize an apartment whose value amounts to EGP 200,000.00 (the prize may be disbursed in cash).

- Second prize an apartment whose value amounts to EGP 100,000.00 (the prize may be disbursed in cash).

- Third prize an apartment whose value amounts to EGP 50,000.00 (the prize may be disbursed in cash)

- Hundreds of other cash prizes whose value ranges between EGP 250 and EGP 1,500.00
